It wont let me click on the start button. Im on a macbook, Can someone help? What do i press to get it to work

SAME

you press Z, you don't use the mouse at all in this game.

A criminally underrated gem of a game! I freaking love this.

Great story. I loved it. Especially the monkey boss thing

I find it kinda disappointing that I had to talk to all of the neighbors for the Manager boss battle to be triggered, but it's still a good game.

talking to the neighbours is entirely optional

So, I only need to talk to the Manager again to trigger the boss battle? Because when I didn't talk to either him or the neighbors, there was no boss battle.

I actually found 5 endings:

Leave immediately

Die in the apartment

Leave midway through

Die in the basement

Burn down the building

the deaths arent endings

You get a unique cut scene and the game literally ends (you have to get through the opening scene again.) So I'd count it. If it restarted you from a checkpoint or something I wouldn't.

ok but the game doesnt count them

This has such a unique artstyle. Great job keep doing what you do 10/10.

Played this on a 3 scary games, really enjoyed it, even managed to find all 3 endings (with a little help from google).
Keep up the good work

loved to play, very atmosferic, the visuals and music matches very well with the story!

I absolutely loved this, great job!

This is the best Gameboy game I have ever played. I wish it was longer. I would buy this type of game! Please make more!!!!

Pretty cool game.

This is a very good game. I could be biased because Junji Ito inspiration but, the visuals were artistic and well-made. I like that you face the grim reality that everything bad has already happened and you can't save anything but at least you can put a stop to it.

Okay this game was top tier amazing. Something about the retro style really ads a certain eerie element to the game. I think I got all the endings unlocked, but I'm pretty sure there might be some secrets I missed. I played this game last in the lineup for my Half Hour Horror video. This game was a blast to play through. Incredible work!

Awesome game

Very cool game, the atmosphere is very creepy and it is a very cool storyline. The pictures are probably my favorite part because they are so creepy.

Very nice indeed! I reckon you could get stories out of any of those other residents - I'd like to see the POV of the woman who wanted the player to take her baby to safety...

Really good game.

All deaths.

I LOVE JUNJI ITO's WORK, add in a little bit of detective work in a gameboy style setting and you get this classic

Super rad!! I love the song that plays in Helen's room, very droning, but then the trill adds excitement

Hello! Game was really fun I discovered 2/3 endings, but I'm really confused of what ACTUALLY happened. I escaped, apartment burned, but I didn't solve the mystery. Why was manager so creepy, why did fire appear after I gave that thing a heart, where did that acid come from, why were people who live in the apartment act strange like at first they said it's bad and then pretended like everything is fine, what happened to the girl in diary... Great game though! <3

Wow! As a big GB fan, this game is very well done.

Very interesting retro horror experience. ALL ENDINGS:

QUIT ENDING:

I love the artwork , very retro , I am a little confused by the endings ,

but that's not a bad thing .

Gameboy horror, best horror.

Awesome! I would LOVE to play this on the Analogue Pocket. ¿Is there anyway to convert the .GB to .pocket and enjoy the visuals with real Game Boy aesthetic?

just uploaded a pocket ver, please let me know if there's any issues with it. enjoy

This was awesome, really great work! Loved the art!

Oh man, that was fun. The visuals are great, truly disgusting in the best way, I had some strong reactions :D

I am amazed that the Giallo and Junji Ito references actually both came through incredibly strong, that’s one hell of a combo and it worked perfectly.

My main gripe is that I would have loved to see more of this nightmare world.

Love the art style and the idea! Really inspiring. Although, I still haven't figured out how to get out of the apartment - still love the game :D

2nd Game: 5:31

Discussion:

I can definitely see the inspiration in this game. And I will say that it's a very satisfying product! Everything is top notch, especially for a WEBGL game that you don't even have to download. There isn't any bugs from what I played, the soundtrack gives off huge 80s vibes with a pinch of Suspiria flavoring in it. (Never watched the movie but I can see the inspiration from the visuals alone with its colors). And speaking of visuals, the graphics and especially the character models look great! And of course there is multiple endings, however they do end off very abruptly. But I enjoyed the game enough to not be disappointed with my experience.

I love this game and I would like to volunteer to translate this into Turkish so that my Turkish friends can play this. How can I contact you?

How many endings does this game have? It's really cool!

EDIT: Got them all! Didn't notice there was a checklist in the title screen

(1 edit)

Wait, where is the checklist on the title screen?

Once you get an ending, when you are sent back to the title screen, there will be an Endings Counter in the top right

I got the Burn and Leave ending - do you remember how to get the other one?

This was really cool. I love the art style

cool

The Melting Apartment Gameplay

Good game

This looks great. Is there a way to make the screen fullscreen?
